Case: 12844 Category: Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) Age: 30 Gender: Female Description: This is a 30 year old woman who was unhappy about her C-section scar. She had two previous C-sections. After her second, she noted severe indentation of her scar, as well as loose skin in her lower abdomen that did not improve with exercise. She was also unhappy about the decrease in her breast size that occurred after pregnancy and breastfeeding. She had a "mommy makeover" that included a mini-tummy tuck and breast augmentation with 280 cc saline implants. Notice that the improvement in her abdomen is limited to below the belly button. A "mini" tummy tuck addresses only the lower abdomen, as the belly button itself is not lifted up, and therefore, the upper abdomen is only minimally affected. Furthermore, there is increased "hooding" of the belly button after surgery, where the redundant skin of the upper abdomen is more apparent since the lower abdomen has been changed so dramatically. |
After photos were taken 4 Months after surgery/procedure.
