Case: 7955 Category: Breast Reconstruction Surgery Gender: Female Description: This patient had breast cancer within one breast requiring mastectomy, and elected for a prophylactic mastectomy on the other side. She had immediate breast reconstruction with tissue expanders, with subsequent expansion in my office every two weeks. She had a second procedure where the tissue expanders were removed and the final implants were placed. She is considering whether to pursue the final stage of nipple and areolar reconstruction.
