She elected for mastectomy on the left side as well, and had a double reconstruction with tissue expanders. Post-op pictures are after permanent implants are in place. Nipple reconstruction and areolar tattooing has been performed to complete the reconstruction.

She had immediate breast reconstruction with tissue expanders, with subsequent expansion in my office every two weeks. She had a second procedure where the tissue expanders were removed and the final implants were placed. She is considering whether to pursue the final stage of nipple and areolar reconstruction.
