Facelift

Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
To rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes, men and women in Columbia, Maryland and Baltimore look to eyelid surgery with Dr. Eric Chang. The procedure to remove excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids can be performed with sedation in a local surgery center or under local anesthetic in Dr. Chang’s office in Columbia, Maryland. Eyelid surgery may be performed for cosmetic reasons or for functional reasons by lifting droopy eyelids out of your field of vision. Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)
Nose surgery is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures, both across the country and here in Columbia, Maryland and Baltimore. Rhinoplasty can be performed to reshape, reduce or augment a patient’s nose. The 1 to 2 hour procedure is performed with either local or general anesthesia, typically on an outpatient basis. During nose surgery, Dr. Chang can remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and mouth, as well as correct an injury, or a birth defect.

Liposuction & Neck Lift
A neck lift combined with chin liposuction at Maryland’s Columbia Aesthetic Plastic Surgery can tighten loose skin on the neck, while removing excess fat beneath the chin. A less invasive alternative to a facelift, the procedure can produce dramatic results for the patient whose chin and/or neck has sagged with age or following significant weight loss.

Ear Pinning (Otoplasty)
With ear surgery, Baltimore and Columbia, Maryland area children and adults can have prominent ears set back closer to the head. Over the course of the 2 to 3 hour procedure, Dr. Chang can improve the appearance of “lop ear,” “cupped ear” and “shell ear,” as well as lobes with creases or tears. Ear surgery may be performed with either general or local anesthesia at an outpatient surgery center, or with a local anesthetic in the office.

Chin Implants
Dr. Chang uses chin implants to reshape a patient’s chin, helping to provide him or her with a more harmonious balance among facial features. As the size of the chin can either magnify or minimize the perceived size of the nose, Dr. Chang may, in some instances, recommend chin implants to Baltimore and Columbia, Maryland patients also having nose surgery (rhinoplasty).
