This 41-year-old woman wanted to decrease the size of her breasts while also balancing their size. She was experiencing physical problems, like shoulder, neck, and back pain, as well as emotional stress. In search of relief, she visited Dr. Chang to find out more about breast reduction in Columbia, Maryland. Dr. Chang performed this patient’s breast reduction surgery using the short scar (or vertical) technique, which is very popular with Baltimore breast enhancement patients because it provides an attractive breast shape with minimal scarring. This technique involves an incision placed around the areola (the dark part of the nipple) that travels straight down to the breast crease. During the surgery, Dr. Chang removed 260 grams of tissue from the right breast and 430 grams from the left breast.

These pictures were taken just 3 months after surgery. The visible incisions will fade gradually for about the first year after surgery and become barely noticeable. While this woman is pleased with the more firm, compact, and shapely look of her breasts, she is most satisfied with being relieved of the weight and burden of carrying heavy, overly large breasts.
