This 60 year old male came to the practice in search of a highly-qualified plastic surgeon in the Baltimore area. Dissatisfied with the appearance of his neck and jaw line, this patient expressed his desire for a procedure that would give him a more defined neck line.

During his consultation with Dr. Chang, he learned about a surgical technique that varied from the traditional facelift or formal neck lift. The procedure was performed under local anesthesia, by using a 1mm laser cannula and micro-liposuction cannulas. Because these liposuction wands are so small, Dr. Chang was able to use very small incisions, leading to a great recovery for the patient. The energy released from the laser penetrated deep into the skin’s surface to promote skin tightening and reduction of excess fat tissue.

After the procedure, there was minimal scarring, minimal downtime, and the results appear very natural. There now is a more defined look along his neck line and the patient is very pleased with his results from his plastic surgery near Baltimore.
