Procedures Performed

  • Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
  • Mommy Makeover
  • Breast Augmentation

After giving birth to 2 children, this 30-year-old woman wanted her pre-baby body back. The pregnancies had left her with stretched abdominal muscles and skin that lacked tone. Her breasts had lost a lot of their perkiness. Wanting to know if she would be a good candidate for a Mommy Makeover, the Baltimore woman scheduled a consultation with Dr. Chang.

She and Dr. Chang discussed her goals and looked at the various choices available to her. It was decided that the best option for flattening her midsection would be a full, high-lateral-tension abdominoplasty, also known as a tummy tuck.

They also decided that with breast augmentation the Baltimore woman could have fuller, younger looking breasts again. After discussing the pros and cons of various types of breast implants, they agreed on submuscular placement of 350 cc silicone gel implants.

As her pictures show, she now has a smoother, more contoured midsection, and her breasts look more like they did before children – with just a little something extra. This summer, for the first time in several years, she once again felt comfortable wearing a 2-piece swimsuit.
