This 39-year-old woman was unhappy with the way her breasts and abdomen had changed after having 2 children. After a consultation with Columbia plastic surgery specialist Dr. Eric Chang, she chose to undergo a mommy makeover that included abdominoplasty, flank liposuction, and breast augmentation to restore her body and improve her feelings of confidence. She also hoped to correct her breast asymmetry with the addition of implants.

During her consultation, Dr. Chang took plenty of time to get to know her as an individual. He asked her many questions about her medical history, lifestyle, and goals, both short- and long-term. He took her measurements and performed a physical examination to help him make sound recommendations that were likely to give the patient her desired results. She chose Mentor® implants, with 325 cc in the right breast and 300 cc in the left.

Her after photos, taken after 1 year, show the patient with a flatter, rejuvenated abdomen with attractive contours. Her breasts are larger and have a pleasing symmetry, and their natural-looking shape complements her renewed contours. She is happy with the results of her mommy makeover at our Baltimore-area practice.
