Breast Augmentation

This 40-year-old mother of 2 was unhappy with the size of her 34A breasts and came in for a consultation to discuss breast augmentation surgery. Like many of our Baltimore breast augmentation patients, she was unhappy with the look of her breasts and nipples after breastfeeding her children.

For each of his plastic surgery patients, Dr. Chang has a thorough consultation to address each concern and to learn about the patient’s goals. This patient expressed that she wanted to restore volume that she had lost after pregnancy and that she was uncomfortable with the size of her nipples, which had stretched from nursing. Dr. Chang also took note of some mild asymmetry between her breasts during a physical examination.

With Dr. Chang’s guidance, the patient decided on augmentation using implants of slightly different sizes (275 cc and 300 cc) to account for the asymmetry. He also recommended reducing the size and projection of her nipples. As you can see in her photos taken 4 months after surgery, she achieved a nice increase in size that’s also very natural-looking.
