A 67-year-old man diagnosed with right ear skin cancer underwent Mohs excision, leaving him with a large defect of the ear rim and exposed cartilage.

Surgeon: Jessica Wang, MD

Procedure: 2 stage ear reconstruction with post-auricular flap (stages performed 3 to 4 weeks apart)

Anesthesia: Twilight sedation

Duration: 1.5 hours

Result: Shown 3 months after surgery
