This 42 year old woman previously had multiple pregnancies and a C section. She and Dr. Chang discussed various options for her abdomen, including a full abdominoplasty. However, she did not want a scar around the umbilicus, and ultimately opted for a mini abdominoplasty.

A TAP block was performed for maximum pain relief during and post surgery. The procedure was performed under sedation IV anesthesia without the need for a breathing tube. Liposuction of the trunk was performed as well as abdominal wall plication and removal of a significant amount of skin redundancy from the abdomen.

She is shown before and 6 months after her surgery.
