Breast Augmentation

Flat, unsubstantial breasts were the reasons this 38-year-old woman contacted Columbia Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She wanted a more youthful appearance with breasts that were fuller and more rounded. She also wanted her breasts to be more symmetrical; the left breast was larger than the right. After looking through Dr. Chang’s photo gallery of before-and-after pictures, she decided to contact him to discuss breast implants near Baltimore.

She and Dr. Chang talked about the various aspects of breast augmentation surgery, including implant choice, procedure techniques, risks and recovery time. She felt confident knowing that Dr. Chang had her best interests at heart and was willing to answer all of her questions. She was interested in silicone implants, so she asked Dr. Chang about their safety. He assured her that silicone implants were safe and approved by the FDA. He explained that silicone implants are a popular choice because many women believe they provide a more natural look and feel than saline implants. After feeling the two implant materials, she agreed and decided on silicone implants.

To balance the asymmetry, Dr. Chang used a 250 cc silicone implant in her left breast and a 275 cc implant in her right breast. He placed the implants through incisions made in the creases underneath the breasts so that the scars would be hidden. She loves the look of her new breasts and is very happy with the outcome.
