This lovely 40 year old woman was unhappy about both the size and shape of her breasts. Fearing the risk of hypertrophic scarring, she requested a short scar vertical breast reduction. This was performed at our in-office surgical suite under sedation with a PECs block placed preoperatively. A total of 480 grams was removed from the larger right breast, with 220 grams removed from the smaller left breast. Liposuction to the upper lateral “axillary” or “ectopic” breast was also performed to better contour this area. She is seen here 3 months after surgery and is very pleased with her end result.
